Christine Harmes, Ph.D., ACC, BCC

Dr. Christine Harmes is an author, teacher, and personal development coach who works with people to clarify their paths, cultivate confidence, and connect with their deepest selves.

Christine has a long history of helping people achieve things that seem scary or even impossible to them.  As a university professor, she taught and mentored students through completing their coursework, writing a dissertation, and ultimately earning their doctoral degrees.  As a marathon training coach, she guided hundreds of people through the long training process, and then ran or walked beside them to complete their marathons. As a personal development coach, Christine has worked with people on a wide variety of life topics including navigating change, finding clarity and purpose, defining and achieving goals, and creating lives that inspire them.

Christine holds a Ph.D. with dual concentrations in Educational Measurement and Evaluation, and Instructional Technology.  Over her 20 years in academia, she has taught graduate courses in measurement, research, writing, presenting, and instructional technology; conducted research; and mentored students and researchers She has published over 25 articles and book chapters, and has given over 60 presentations at professional conferences.

Christine has had a successful personal and professional coaching practice since 2012. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through CCE, a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) with the Yoga Alliance, a certified meditation instructor with the Open Heart Project, and has trained in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT; also known as “Tapping”).

Personal Development Coaching

Christine works individually with a select number of people who are ready to elevate their lives and/or businesses. Together we will define your agenda for the journey, clarify your desires and intentions, create a vision to move you forward, and set measurable outcomes and accountability structures that work for you. To best support your momentum, we may incorporate additional modalities into coaching such as EFT/Tapping, meditations, visualization, and breath work. Our soulful partnership is characterized by deep listening, sacred space, and intuitive connection
